  1. I think you did a really good job with your Podcast and with using Garage Band for the first time! I definitely had trouble with the lowering of volumes and couldn’t figure it out for the longest time. Google was absolutely my best friend in accomplishing this assignment. You picked two great songs that both flowed into each other very nicely. The only thing I would change would be cutting the time between each song transition, so that there’s no silence in the podcast; however, besides that, you did a great job! I really liked how you introduced yourself and felt comfortable talking to your audience. It sounded very natural and I can’t wait to hear more!

  2. Hi Berna! Overall, I think you did a good job with making your first podcast, though I do have a few small comments I’d like to make. One thing is that some of the editing of the songs sounded a bit choppy and the volume of the music itself was a bit low (personal opinion). Trust me when I say that Garageband definitely is not easy on first-time users, so I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it the more you use it. Something I liked that you did though is leave the listener on a bit of a cliffhanger. Personally, you were able to make me feel excited as to what else you’ll be talking about in future podcasts, which I think is a good base for a following. Good job, again!

  3. I enjoyed the personal bits you gave us here. It was interesting to know how your taste in food changed. That is more of a side comment not directly related to the assignment, but it gave this first episode a very inviting feel. You are open when talking about yourself which is important for someone who needs to get behind a microphone. I liked the song you chose to loop. The beat left me feeling happy. My only critique is to adjust the crossfade, as Carl said too. And on second thought maybe you should fill us in on what your tumblr blog is like. What sort of content do you follow and reblog?

  4. Nice job with your first podcast 😀 Listening to you talk was really easy and comfortable since you didn’t stumble over your words and you kept a really nice pace. Since I had to use Audacity over Garageband, I’m wondering what the process was like for you and what tools you had available to make your podcast.
